Quick Preview on 2025 Domotex Observation Report by Ethan Lee

Key Summary Points in 2025 Domotex Observation Report:

  • Next generation SPC flooring focus on lighter compositions
  • More dynamic actions in PVC free flooring developments
  • Cost of raw materials leading to more competitive low prices for exports
  • Less participants by global leading brands
  • ESG and Low Carbon Emission a key focus but only leading manufacturers comply
  • Global diversification expand beyond Asia

Short Comment

Global supply chain currently face significant uncertainties and both brands and manufacturers are actively seeking diversified strategies to try to capture orders by optimizing logistics and tariffs. Much of the new product developments in SPC products are revolved around the concept of building a lighter plank that effectively allow importers to load more quantities of goods in a container. An interesting view was observed as we also see different manufacturers providing more advanced products are able to capture more orders from mega brands, and ordinary SPC would not be as favorable as market competition and prices simply went too low to allow businesses to make sufficient profits.
