Turkey Question?

I purchased a frozen Butterball boneless turkey breast roast. I took it out of the plastic wrapping and found that the breast is held together by a mesh netting. Do I remove the netting before I cook it or do I leave it on there?

Leave it on. It holds the breast meat together. After you cook it, it is easily cut off with a sharp knife. A lot of boneless pork loin roasts and beef roasts come that way also.
Hang on. . . . when you say “mesh” are you talking plastic or string type netting? If plastic mesh, take it off. If it’s the string type, then you can leave it on. I guess I’ve never seen plastic netting on meat before. Sorry about jumping in there without really reading.

No you need to leave it on until you have finished cooking the bird as the netting holds it together. If there is netting on there then it has been boned.
If you remove before cooking then it will fall apart when heated. It won’t taste any different but it won;t look nice for presentation.
Hope this helps and have a great day/night!!!

Take it off.
In your roasting pan put some veggies ion the bottom to make a sort of rack to put the breast on.
After cooking these veggies can be put in a blender to make a wonderful gravy with the other meat dripping.
Types of veggies to use:
onion, carrot, potato, celery or any others that you like.

Yeah, you can move it. It’s already firm. Don’t worry about it.
