Does Anyone Else Not Get The Big Deal About The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
I think that I might be the only one who doesn’t get what the big fuss about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is. . . I mean yeah, the discount some of the stuff, but its not like it makes it super cheap or anything.
I mean what there’s some jeans that are like $20 off of $200. . . that’s still $180. Or $100 off of a purse thats $300. . . that’s still $200. I mean you still have to be either pretty rich or pretty willing to still splurge. I just don’t get the big deal about this sale there’s still close to nothing under even $50 unless you shop in like the kids or BP department for a plain v-neck tshirt. Does anyone else not get what the big fuss is about?! All my friends lined up this morning at 8:00 and ran in there like it was the day after thanksgiving and I really just don’t get it. It’s like you still spent $500 rather than what like $700. Sorry, but $500 is still a lot.

I’m a junior and I shop on Nordstrom Juniors. But still I agree the sale isn’t that big of a deal. Things should be like 70% off for a huge anniversary sale. But I love Nordstrom juniors. But I guess if you’re not willing to splurge then it sucks for you.

I actually have no idea what store that is. I guess it’s American?
Anyways, I’m not a fan of buying designer so that I can say “ya my clothes are SOOOO expensive”. Clothes that are under 100 dollars at regular stores look just as good as those designer clothes. I wouldn’t shop there though. I would only for specific items, like a coat or jacket, or a pair of boots, as those are kind of like. . . statement and staple pieces. Those are items I would be willing to spend more money on. But on shirts? Pants? Dresses? I’m not going to pay hundreds for something that looks the same as something that is hundreds of dollars cheaper and that I will no longer be wearing within a few years.
Plus, I don’t shop based on “seasons” or what is “in”. I just shop according to what looks good on me, flows with my personality, and that I like. Screw buying the “fall” clothing, I’ll buy whatever the hell I want to buy!
