Did Anybody Else Notice That Biggest Loser’s Season 1 Winner, Ryan, Was Excluded In The Winners’ Clip Tonight?

I wonder if his absence may have resulted from Bob’s comments regarding Ryan on last week’s show. He basically cautioned Vicky to not play like Ryan because Ryan didn’t learn anything and had regained all of his weight. Has there been any response from Ryan regarding these comments and might that be the reason that he was excluded?

Ryan says he only kept the weight off for a few months and keeping from gaining has been very hard for him. He feels guilty for gaining all the weight back and says the shows inspires a lot of people and he doesn’t like being the guy to disappoint viewers. That would be my guess that Ryan did not follow the good example. I believe it was 2 seasons ago, when there was a contestant that didn’t even show up for the finale. I often wondered if it was because they just gained all the weight back and didn’t want to show their face.

That could be, though I never heard anything about him responding. And he wasn’t the only one. Matt and Suzy Hoover were featured, but just barely, especially since Matt still has most of the weight he gained back after they had the baby, while Suzy’s been working extra hard to get back into shape.
