Would it be weird if i showed the girl i just met a creative story i wrote about her? or would she think that i’m a geek?

So here’s the story, please be truthful. =)

6 o’clock darkness engulfs me in its beauty. The quiet streets, the peaceful wind rushes between people as they hurry home. I await the train alone, feeling empty on the inside. Weariness takes over. The train arrives with an array of noises. Carriages are full to the extent where light cannot escape. The whistle sounds, signaling the departure of the train. i rush to the next empty carriage, but as i arrive inside, my limbs were motionless. I had never before seen such splendor, such a magnificent sight. A girl around my age stood a meter away, so innocently, so pure. Shoulder length black hair, checkered sapphire skirt and a blouse as white as snow. I stood there trying to keep my composure. We were face to face, in my mind it was only but her and me. As i stood there my eyes couldn’t resist but to gaze in her
direction, every time i see her, her eyes seem to wonder away. Stations passed by unnoticed, minutes ticked by like seconds. I try not to look directly at her, but out of amazement i could see her looking in my direction on the corner of my eye. Every time i look away she does the opposite. The lights on the train black out, she could no longer be seen through the dimness. Even though it was but a moment, she was already missed. Lights flicker back on and as it was my stop, i looked over to her one last time, our eyes made contact. It was as though heaven has come crashing down upon my world. Smiles were exchanged as I wandered off the train. i could see her peering out of the window. The train departs, Further she went and further until she was no longer in sight. My only opportunity. Gone, forever to remain lost, but that moment of perfection was worth more than every minute spent…

I’ve noticed a huge popularity increase in indie music. just recently bands like cold war kids, animal collective, and tv on the radio have been getting lots of airplay on late night shows (letterman, SNL) and even MTV!, I even read about grizzly bear on the AOL frontpage, is this really happening or is it just me

I just got, as a Christmas gift, Warren Zevon’s Greatest Hits. Like the rest of America, I’ve heard that "Werewolves in London" tune on the radio a million times without ever really listening to it.

So I’m curious: Do the songs "Werewolves of London" and "I Was In The House When The House Burned Down" actually mean anything, have any kind of story behind them that anyone is aware of – the way that, for example, "Boom Boom Mancini" obviously does? Or is it just a lot of extemporaneous rhythms and rhymes?

Bonus question: I also got "Loyalty Days" by Garrison Keillor. Does anyone know the lyrics to "Whoopi Ki-Yi-Yo" or know where I can find them? I can’t seem to google them.

I was planning to wear this outfit at work but with flats (I have to walk a lot )…. but I I think it looks better with heels… Can I go with flats? or heels are a must?

NBA FANS: which team shood he (traitor) go to?

in the movie Blood Diamond almost everytime someone died in the movie therewould be people who would do something horrible to the bodies like tying them to the back of a vehicle and drive around with the bodies dragging behind the them which made me wonder what could have happened to Archers body when he died since those guys were starting to come up the hill after Archer when he was talking to Maddy on the phone. so what do you think happened to Archers body?

Since Golden State beat them a couple years back they haven’t been the same!
